I love to decorate and when it came time to decide on a
theme for the boys nursery I could not find anything I liked. The baby animals,
cars and sports were cute but I wanted to be different and use bright colors... not the same ‘ol pastels that are used in most nursery rooms. So I decided to
take matters in to my own hands.
We went with my favorite lime green and bright blue. I added
some brown and white to go with it. I also wanted to go a neutral theme so I
went with shapes and if I do say so myself it turned out pretty darn cute. I
made the valance, quilts, crib skirt, and decorative frames for the wall. I
then added my special decorating touch.
Now that the boys are a year old I have added some more cute
pictures of them and made a cute banner for their birthday that matches their
room perfectly so we hung that up too. I LOVE the bright fun colors and the
boys have loved looking at everything.
